Bringing Your Tech to Life DSIR – Post-Service Notes

The Service Is Complete — What Happens Next?

How to use your Service Report and the BYT2L Digital Security resources after service is
completed.

Your service report is the starting point. Begin with the chapters or sections
it identifies, then use the rest of the library as an ongoing reference.

Please refer to the BYT2L Digital Security Incident Response & Recovery
Guide
provided with your service documentation. Your Service Report may identify
specific chapters, sections, or pages that are particularly relevant to your incident.

The Guide is a comprehensive client education and recovery resource created to help you better
understand digital security incidents, the steps taken during investigation and recovery, and
actions you can take to strengthen the security of your devices, accounts, identity, and online
presence.

Because the Guide covers many different types of security incidents, not every section will apply
to your specific situation. We recommend beginning with the chapters referenced in your Service
Report and using the remaining sections as an ongoing reference.

You are welcome to share the Guide with friends, family members, or coworkers for educational
purposes, provided the document remains unmodified, Bringing Your Tech to Life remains identified
as the original author, and no individual or organization claims authorship or ownership of the
material.
