On-site service in your home or business

We come to you when the machine should stay where it is — Wi-Fi, printers, cabling, a tower you do not want to unhook. Hourly, one-hour minimum, plus a $1/mile trip fee. Complex hardware usually goes back to the shop so you are not paying the clock to watch a scan.

Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–7:00 PM by appointment. Serving the Piedmont Triad from King, NC.

Some people do not want to unplug a desktop because they are not sure it will go back together. Some offices cannot spare the machine for a drop-off. Some jobs only exist in the building: a printer on the network, a mesh node in the hallway, a TV on the wall, cable that has to run through a closet.

That is on-site. It is not a cheaper version of shop work. It is a different service with a different bill. If the problem is simple, we can often finish the same day. If it is a board, a clone, a swollen battery, or a malware job that needs offline tools, we will tell you it belongs on the bench and quote pickup or a drop-off so you are not buying hours.

Trip fee is $1.00 per mile, round trip, from our shop at 1260 Ralph Boyles Rd. in King — or from the previous client if that is shorter. All on-site labor has a one-hour minimum, then 15-minute increments.

Work that belongs at your place

Also common on-site: workstation setup, server check-ins we can do without a full bench, pickup of a machine that will come back to the shop, and drop-off of a finished repair so you do not have to drive to King.

How an on-site visit runs

Hardware repairs other than simple swaps are usually not done on-site. The shop has the ESD mat, the iron, the magnification, and the lighting. We will not pretend a kitchen table is a bench. Cities and counties: locations.

On-site questions

Do you provide on-site computer service?

Yes. Scheduled visits for homes and businesses in Stokes, Forsyth, Surry, Rockingham, and Yadkin County. Appointment only. Ticket first.

What can you actually do on-site?

Setup, printers, networking, Wi-Fi, software, training, peripherals, workstation layout, simple troubleshooting, TV mounting, and cable management. If it needs a bench, we will say so.

Are some repairs cheaper in the shop?

Yes. Diagnostics, motherboard work, microsoldering, long malware jobs, and anything that has to sit overnight are almost always better as drop-off. We will tell you before the clock eats the budget.

How is the trip fee calculated?

$1.00 per mile, round trip, from 1260 Ralph Boyles Rd., King, NC — or from our previous stop that day if that is a shorter drive for you.

Is there a one-hour minimum?

Yes, for all on-site labor. Remote support has no minimum. In-shop common jobs are flat-rate after the diagnostic.

Can you pick up and deliver instead?

Often. If you cannot unhook it, we can. If you can drop it in King, that is usually the better rate. We will recommend the cheaper honest option.

Do warranty follow-ups still have a trip fee?

Labor on the completed service is 90 days. Warranty work is attempted remotely first. A return trip fee is at the shop’s discretion. Reply to the original Service Completed email — do not open a new ticket. Guarantee.
