How the work actually goes

Windows laptops we repair

Windows PC laptops

Dell, HP, Lenovo, Asus, Acer, MSI, and the rest. Screens, hinges, batteries, charge ports, boards. Laptop repair.

MacBook-style laptops we repair

MacBook

Air and Pro. Butterfly keyboards, Touch Bar era, soldered storage, and the charge port that is part of the board. We say so before we open it.

Chromebooks we repair

Chromebook

School units and the cheap one from the sale aisle. Parts exist for some models and not others. A wipe is not always the answer if the board is dead.

Gaming laptops we repair

Gaming laptops

Heat, fans, paste, GPUs that sit on a riser. These cook themselves in a bed. Cleaning the vents with a vacuum is how you bend fins.

Convertible 2-in-1 laptops

Convertibles / 2-in-1

Hinges that do 360 degrees fail in their own way. Digitizers and kickstands. Yoga, Spectre, and the Surface Book class of machines.

Touchscreen laptops we repair

Touchscreens

Glass and digitizer stacks. A line in the panel is not a software setting. We do not “resolder the screen.”

Mobile workstations we repair

Mobile workstations

ThinkPad P, Precision, ZBook. ECC RAM, MXM GPUs on some generations, and docks that cost more than a student laptop.

Business docks and docking stations

Docks

Thunderbolt, USB-C, and the old proprietary brick. Sometimes the laptop is fine and the dock is cooking displays.

Student and home laptops

Student and home use

The household laptop. Spills, backpacks, and a charger that has been replaced three times with the wrong wattage.

★★★★★

“Paul is an All-Star technician who I will trust for any device repairs I need in the future. The ticket submission system and communication at Bringing Your Tech to Life is fantastic. Once my ticket was processed, my MacBook repair was performed expertly and with a quick turnaround time. Paul ensures high Quality Control standards by sending a detailed diagnostics report pre-repair, and a comprehensive technical report afterwards. He also went above and beyond by providing missing screws and an internal cleaning of my device at no additional charge. Highly recommended, thanks Paul!”

“I put in a ticket to have my laptop repaired. My hinge have broken after a previous warranty repair. Although it did take a while for my ticket to be processed it was definitely worth it. I was able to keep up with the repair process due to very thorough and constant communication about the process. Everything was explained and I was given an opportunity to accept repairs before any additional work outside of the initial quote was completed. The photos of all of the damage and work being completed from the business was very helpful as well! Hopefully in the future I will not need any additional repairs however if I do I would definitely use this business again.”

“I dropped off my son’s laptop that needed to have the screen repaired and was so pleased not only with the detailed explanation I was given on what needed to be done but also several options depending on my budget. The computer was repaired within a few days which blew me away after previously being told by Best Buy that that same repair would be at least 4-6 weeks if they did it. I was so pleased with my experience with Bringing Your Tech to Life that I’ve already used them again to make some upgrades on a computer and my second experience was fantastic as well. Absolutely will use Bringing Your Tech to Life for all of our family’s future computer needs!”
