90-Day Labor Warranty · We Honor Parts & Vendor Warranties

Device repair guarantee

We guarantee the work we actually did. Labor on the completed service is covered for 90 days. Parts we supply keep the manufacturer or vendor warranty — and we file that claim for you. Some shops advertise a year. We print what we will honor.

Warranty claims: reply to your original “Service Completed” email. Do not open a new ticket.

What 90 days actually means

If something related to the completed service fails after pickup or after we leave, contact us using the original email whose subject is Ticket #____ Service Completed. That is how a warranty claim jumps the queue. A brand-new ticket waits in line like every other job — don’t do that for a comeback.

  • Labor: 90 days from the completion date, on the work that was approved and finished.
  • Parts we supply: covered by the manufacturer or vendor warranty. We look up the original invoice and represent you to Amazon, Newegg, MobileSentrix, or whoever sold it.
  • No second diagnostic fee when the device comes back for the same completed service inside 90 days.
  • If the problem is new scope — for example the original job was a screen, and it comes back soaking wet — that is a new diagnosis, and the diagnostic fee applies.

How a comeback is handled

We try remote first. If it has to come back to the shop or we have to roll a truck, a trip fee can still apply. That call is at the shop’s discretion — if it is clearly our workmanship, we are not looking to nickel-and-dime the drive.

Warranty follow-up starts remote. Shop or on-site is next if the machine has to be in someone’s hands.

Parts: we recommend what lasts

We recommend quality parts — usually OEM or the vendors we already trust — because they are the ones that survive the warranty period. We will still tell you the cheaper option. You choose. You pay what we paid for the part (card and other electronic-payment processing fees are passed through; that is the processor, not a hidden markup).

Parts often cost more than the labor. That is normal. If you buy the part yourself from eBay to save a few dollars, that is your call. It is a gamble. We cannot warranty a part we did not supply. If our install of your part was sloppy, the 90-day labor still covers putting it right. If the cheap part fails, that is the part — not our labor clock restarting a new part for free.

Parts we supply keep the vendor’s warranty. We process the claim. Parts you supply do not get a parts warranty from us.

What is not covered

  • Issues you already had and declined to repair.
  • Problems unrelated to the completed service.
  • Accidental or intentional damage after the job: a laptop lid closed on a pencil that cracks a new screen is not a warranty screen. Lines that appear because the panel itself is defective are a parts claim — that is why we use reputable vendors.
  • Liquid or moisture that was not the original job. We replaced a screen; two months later the machine is wet — that is not a free diagnostic.
  • Hardware or software you (or someone else) installed after pickup.
  • Data loss. Back up before we start. We are not your backup plan.
  • Customer-supplied parts (no parts warranty).

Malware and virus work

Labor is 90 days. We keep a log of what was removed. If you come back inside 90 days with the same infection, we remove it again at no labor charge. A brand-new infection from a new click, a new USB, or a new download is not the same job.

The “one-year warranty” you see on chain sites

Some national shops advertise a year. Read the asterisk: liquid is out, OEM-program work is out, and a lot of real-world failures are out. We would rather say 90 days of labor we will actually honor, plus the real manufacturer warranty on the part, with the exclusions above printed in English. Full legal language lives in our Terms and Conditions.

Code of conduct

How this shop is supposed to behave — whether anyone is watching or not.

Honesty in business

Contracts, invoices, bills, statements of work, and every other document are accurate. If we don’t know yet, we say we don’t know yet.

Integrity in advertising

We do not stretch the truth to win a job. A 90-day labor warranty is 90 days. An A+ BBB profile is a profile, not accreditation.

Privacy with client data

What you tell us, and what is on the machine, stays here. Refurbished or recycled hardware is wiped using data-security best practices before it leaves.

Environmental responsibility

E-waste is recycled in accordance with federal, North Carolina, and local rules — not a ditch.

Respect for the law

Licensing, taxes, e-waste, and software. We do not install pirated operating systems or office suites. If a “too cheap” shop is offering that, that is not a bargain.
